Spring is finally here! After a particularly long winter for many Chicagoans, it’s time to go outdoors and explore. A few of our colleagues are headed to the Windy City this week for Converge Live Chicago, so we compiled a guide of the top things to do in Chicago.

For carnivores

Chicago is home to many of the top steakhouses in the country. If you’re looking for the perfect slab, check out Bavette’s Bar and Boeuf or the classic Chicago Chop House.

For beer lovers

Craft beer connoisseurs won’t want to miss a stop at Goose Island Brewery, one of the most successful craft breweries in the Midwest.

For foodies

If you’re looking for a restaurant off the beaten path,The Purple Pig is your go-to place. They serve small Mediterranean plates and house-cured meats. Plus, they have a lengthy wine list for vino lovers.

For carb lovers

Let’s not forget what Chicago is known for — deep dish pizza. Giordano’s and Lou Malnati’s are fan favorites.


Chicago Cubs

Wrigley Field is a must-see attraction. Watch the 2016 World Champion Chicago Cubs play, and explore the neighborhood of Wrigleyville after the game to grab a drink or dinner at one of the 48 bars and restaurants in the area.
